 Purpose of role: • To promote and sell the total solution concept to all customers per your and your team’s client list (Personal Protective Equipment/Cleaning/Related Products) • To promote sales of the company’s supplies in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures • To always project a professional personal and organisational image Responsibilities: • To promote new business through an organised and outgoing prospecting system • To produce a weekly planning list which covers your targeted territory (Sandton /Johannesburg and Surrounds) effectively and economically • To render informative daily call reports • To investigate and maintain an up to date and competitive customer record system • To report any significant competitor activity in your area • To investigate new product lines that may sell well in your area with a view to potentially adding to the product range • To approach all situations with the organisation’s objectives and welfare in mind • To ensure that all orders are completed within 7 days or the date that the client requires • To submit weekly, an accurate and comprehensive report, detailing your activities, problems and opportunities • To complete and submit any opportunities and/or threats in the Opportunities and Threats record keeping system • To submit orders prior to 15H00 for the next day’s delivery • To follow up with any outstanding orders with dispatch • Log and immediately attend to customer complaints and see to it that appropriate action is taken by the relevant department • To attend weekly sales meetings Experience and Qualifications required: • Demonstrated success in a previous sales position selling “similar”/allied products to the Industrial, Mining, Construction/Building, Government and varied Corporate Client Base • Self-starter with a desire to grow own regional area and business • Target Driven • Matric/Certifications

You must have Matric, well organised,  strong attention to detail and who is capable of working with confidential information. with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role. Ability to store, recover, and update files, both electronically and manually Knowledge of data entry Knowledge of MS Excel, Word Ability to keep records of materials filed.
